During Presidents Day weekend I shot an Ultimate Frisbee Tournament in San Diego. The last day of the tournament was moved to San Bernardino due to rain and field closures in SD. I came prepared with water-proof pants, jackets, rain cover for my 70-200mm, rain cover for my 400mm, gloves, etc.

Last week our Mens Volleyball team played in Crawford instead of the Bren Events Center. Crawford is more like a high school gym, which would lead you to assume is dark, smaller, and less inviting to shoot in.

I’ve been pretty busy lately and haven’t been shooting much. During a basketball game I shot about two weeks ago, I switched between using my strobes and using available light throughout the game depending on which side of the court I was on. Here are some shots from the game.
